Goals For Creating Happy Life

Setting goals is absolute for those who want success, want to achieve goals, and create lasting happiness in their lives. Without clear goals, you get no direction in life and you don't know where you are or want to be. The vast majority of people do not set themselves any goals at all. And how can you know what success is if you have not set goals for yourself? People who set and write down their goals have virtually guaranteed success.


OBJECTIVES AND SCIENCE

After decades of research into how the human brain works, scientists have discovered that in order for our brain to get what we want, first, we have to be clear about what exactly we want. As soon as we have clear goals, our brain cooperates 100% to realize our dreams.

Successful people and experts in setting goals know that our brain is designed to follow orders. Whatever goal you set for yourself, your unconscious brain will immediately follow these requests and look for information, resources, opportunities, and other ways to achieve that you have identified.

It can sometimes seem impossible in a situation or circumstances, but time and again we see that many people suddenly get what they have set for themselves - and often through a source that is already present in their lives. Very simple, because their brains gave the correct instruction.

Create a clear and specific goal for your brain and let the power of your subconscious work to your advantage. A goal is specific and measurable, so how much, when, where, with whom, etc. If there are no clear criteria, then it's just something you want we call it is a wish, a preference or just an idea. Unfortunately, your subconscious mind does not register this as an assignment or as a goal and the desired results are not achieved.

Specific, measurable goals are called SMART goals.

WHAT IS A SMART GOAL?

It doesn't matter what you call your goals, make sure they are specific and measurable. One of the best methods of setting a goal is to set SMART goals. Ensure that your goals are specific, measurable, achievable, relevant and time-bound. You have a good chance of achieving SMART goals than goals that are vague and broad, or that do not have a specific goal date for completion.


S-SPECIFIC

When determining your goal, your goal must be clear. Not only for yourself but also for others. It must be precise, detailed and capable of answering questions rather than raising questions. What result do you want to achieve exactly? Who is involved, where, when and why.


M- MEASURABLE

Measuring is knowing. It is important to be able to check whether your goal has actually been achieved. Exact financial amounts, including data and a description of your goals. Avoid vague descriptions of your goals such as "Make more money". A specific description is, for example, "I will earn a turnover of $ 10,000 from 1 January 2019." If the goal is split into steps, you can make every step measurable with this.


A- ACCEPTABLE

Make your goals achievable. You can achieve goals within the constraints of time, money, environment, as well as your skills and other important factors. I advise you to first set a few goals for yourself that I call "breakthrough goals" or a goal that will really drive you to reach your goal.


R-REALISTIC

Set goals that are in line with the direction you want to take in your life. And keep your goals in line with your destination. Don't waste time on unrealistic and unattainable goals.

T-TIMED

Set deadlines for completing your goals. Creating a deadline ensures accountability and gives you more motivation. If you haven't reached your goal on a specific date, that's ok, adjust it and keep going. So always set a date for your goals.



HOW CAN YOU SET GOALS?

The first step to an objective is to determine exactly what you want.

What do you want to achieve?
What do you want to experience?
What do you want to acquire?
Who do you want to be?

One of the main reasons why most people don't get what they want is because they are not clear about what they want. Others may recognize what they want, only they do not know how to realize this, and so foolish and unattainable desires arise. Don't tamper yourself this way!

1. Set goals in key areas of your life

We start by setting goals that make clear what you want to achieve to create a successful and happy life.

What do you want to achieve? To create a balanced and successful life, describe at least 3 goals in each of the following 7 areas:

1. Financial goals
2. Career / Business goals
3. Leisure / Family
4. Health
5. Relationships
6. Personal growth
7. A make a difference

Do you have more goals? don't limit yourself - write them down! If describing 20 goals seems a lot, make a mix of short and long term goals.

A goal-oriented short-term goal in the financial field is, for example, to pay off the balance of your credit card of -2,500 euros, as well as a long-term goal of acquiring a net value of 1 million euros. You want to keep both goals in mind, although you will first actively work in the short term.

2. Set "breakthrough" goals


When determining goals, it is important to set a number of breakthrough goals that motivate and drive us to actually achieve them. Whether it's learning a new skill, trying something new outside of your comfort zone, or fear of doing something like public speaking. Drawing up 'breakthrough goals' will help you to make big leaps forward.

Examples of goals that require a breakthrough include: publishing a book, starting a business, winning a big prize in a competition, or being elected as a director of your industry organization.

Material goals are important, but the ultimate goal is to become the master of your own life. In the long run, the greatest gift that we can achieve in the pursuit of our dreams is not the end result of fulfilling that dream, but who become in the process towards the dream.

The material achievements of success can easily be lost. Houses can burn, companies go bankrupt, relationships end, cars grow old, bodies get wrinkles and fame disappears. Who you are, what you have learned and the new skills that you have developed will never go away. These are the real trophies of success.

"Set yourself a large enough goal whereby during the process of achieving this, you become someone you think is worthy to be the one".

Once you are clear about what you want, write it down and turn it into a measurable goal.

3. Decide how you will measure your goals


Measurable means are measurable in space, time, how much and when. You cannot set goals without proper measurement.


As soon as you commit to achieving a dream and go all out, your unconscious brain will flow with creative ideas to make this happen. You will attract people, resources and opportunities that you need to make your dream come true. Big dreams not only inspire you, but they also inspire others and invite you to think big.

You will discover that when your dreams make a significant contribution to others - that is, to contribute something essential to others - it will accelerate the achievement of your goals. Everyone wants to be part of something that contributes and makes a difference.


4. Work on your goals daily

To keep your unconscious brain focused on what you want, read your list of goals every day. For an even more powerful approach, close your eyes and focus on each goal and ask yourself the question "What is one thing I can do today to get closer to achieving this goal?" Write down your answers and convert them into actions.

If I asked you "How do you eat an elephant? .... a bite for a bite". Progress in manageable chunks makes even the most daring goals attainable. You can create a mood board and use it to visualize your goals daily. It will help you stay inspired and keep your goals in mind!

Make you a Life goals list


One of the most powerful things you can do for yourself is to make a life goals list. This is a list of all the things you want to achieve in your life. It is always changing, and it is always updating. Start now and record your most important goals and dreams.


A GOAL VERSUS A GOOD IDEA

If there are no measurable criteria, we simply call it something you want, a wish, a preference or a nice idea. To encourage your subconscious mind, set a clear and measurable goal for yourself.

HOW CAN YOU ACHIEVE GOALS?

Objectives are just the first piece of the puzzle. Once you have set the goals, you will need to take action every day to reach them. Sometimes when things don't happen to you so quickly.


1. Check your expectations


When we admire someone in achieving success, we often focus on the end result and forget to look at the time, effort, and effort required to get there. This results in unrealistic expectations and the idea that success can arise in one night's sleep. What it really is, achieving success in one night of sleep is a myth. Real and lasting success follows a typical series of small events and achievements that seem to last forever, including various disappointments along the way. You are challenged to the extreme: your courage, endurance, integrity and even your willingness to continue.

So if you are being challenged to the extreme right now, don't worry! It is all part of the process. The most important thing is to learn the lessons you need to learn to get further.


2. Focus on what works - NOT on what doesn't work


If you are frustrated because you are not making progress as quickly as you had hoped, you can easily fall into a focus on the negative instead of the positive. You could possibly catch yourself with poisonous thoughts such as "I am not good", "it will never work" or "there is something wrong with me".


A well-known law of attraction is 'what you pay attention to grows'. You get what you focus your attention on, exactly that. If you pay attention to things that do not work, you will attract more negative results, experiences, and people. There is little success there!


So now that you know this and focus on what works, you are able to see how to achieve the best results for your efforts. This leads to new insights and ways of obtaining even better results.


3. Save a written report of your successes


People tend to pay more attention to the negative than the positive. This is known as the 'Negativity' programming of our brain - it helped us to be altered to danger and to survive in the times.

In modern times, 'Negativity' causes us to focus much more strongly on negative feelings and memories than to focus on positive and pleasant memories and feelings. Don't be fooled by your primordial brain! It will greatly help you to keep a written record of all your successes so that you can clearly read back your positive performance.

Write daily in your success diary. It is a great way to focus on the positive and fully focus on your vision for your ideal life and actually realize it.

Write down in a list every morning, in a few minutes, what you are grateful for in your life. At the end of the day, write down what went well. Make sure you write everything down, no matter how small it seems. If you train yourself in recognizing and acknowledging your own achievements, you are guaranteed even more success and happiness in your life.


4. Meditate and create a positive mindset


Meditation is a powerful tool to help you solve problems and change your attitude so that you can attract success earlier. Namely, meditation eliminates your judgments and your internal critic and lets your subconscious mind take over so that you can experience a deep state of inner peace and joy. It allows you to be creative at a deep level and experience more relaxation, it will help you achieve the desired results.


5. Use the rule of 4


My favorite way to get more done every day is to follow the rule of Four. Here's how it works: identify 4 specific things you have achieved each day to get closer to your goal. Don't call it failure until you have gained 4 points from the list at the end of the day.

It is not only a proven structure, but it will also ensure that more is achieved every day. It gives you a clear sense of what is actually achievable in a day - and you can finalize or adjust your goals so that they help you keep going forward without exhausting yourself, or keep working until midnight every night.


6. Get out of your comfort zone and take big steps


Let's say you already do all of these things, and you're still not happy with your results.

Here is a question to think about: have you taken a BIG STEP to get yourself out of your current situation and are you closer to the life of your dreams? You may take action - but take the same steps as you have ALWAYS done. If you continue to do what you have always done, you will continue to achieve the same results that you have always had.

If you want to create a new life for yourself, you will have to develop new behaviors. Shake things up and see if you can turn off new actions or adjust existing ones. And don't be afraid to do something BIG.

Setting goals can change your life

It is enormously liberating when you come to realize that you have the power to make your life the way you want, it is a fantastic feeling that your success is not dependent on someone else.

You could say that setting SMART goals can also have an impact outside of your own life. For example, to motivate employees and create enormous business growth. If you are looking for something that needs to change today, then you did yesterday, do this as follows:

Commit to being 100% responsible for every aspect of your life. Choose what you really want. Decide which actions you need to take to create it and take those steps one by one.

There are many things you can learn to accelerate your success. But the basis that brings you where you want to go is simply this: Decide what you want, check your thoughts, visualize what you want, make a plan and take action. Start with these simple steps and I promise that you will see the results that you want to achieve.
